Employee Referral
Support our mission by recommending dedicated educators and staff to Adventist Schools Victoria.
At Adventist Schools Victoria (ASV), our employees are central to creating Christ-centred learning environments where every student can flourish. Our Employee Referral Program invites team members to actively shape our future workforce by referring talented, mission-aligned professionals to join our community.
As a member of the ASV community, you understand the unique values, workplace culture, and professional qualities required to succeed here. By tapping into your professional and personal networks, you help us discover high-quality external candidates who fit our organisational culture and educational standards.
$1,000*
Awarded for successful candidate referrals into permanent full-time, permanent part-time, or fixed-term teaching roles of 12 months or greater.
$400*
Awarded for successful candidate referrals into permanent full-time, permanent part-time, or fixed-term support roles of 12 months or greater.
All ASV employees are eligible to refer candidates, except for staff whose core role involves hiring - such as People & Culture, Executive Leadership, and School Leaders.
Rewards apply to permanent positions and fixed-term roles of 12+ months. Casual roles converted to permanent within their first 6 months are also eligible. Exclusions include casual positions, contractors, agency placements, interns, and internal transfers.
Candidates must be external applicants. They cannot have worked for ASV in any capacity during the past 12 months, applied directly to a job ad, or been submitted by an external recruitment agency.
Referral fees are paid via payroll following the referred employee’s successful completion of their 6-month probationary period. Both the referring employee and the candidate must be actively employed at the time of payout. Referral nominations remain active for 6 months from submission.
There are no limits on the number of referrals you can make. Please ensure that you receive the consent of each person you refer to ASV.
*Referral payments are gross amounts processed through regular payroll, meaning standard PAYG income tax withholding and superannuation contributions apply to the final payout.
