Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking to employ a Secondary Humanities Teacher to join the team at Henderson College. This is a full-time ongoing teaching position, open to graduates and experienced educators with leadership experience within a school or college setting, for Term 1, 2026.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:
Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes
Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students
Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals
Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school sys tem
Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the College's Christian-based ethos
Can plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students
