Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join the vibrant team at Henderson College. This is a full-time, ongoing role suited to both graduates and experienced educators, including those with leadership experience within a school or college setting for Term 1, 2026.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:

  • Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes

  • Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students

  • Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals

  • Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system

  • Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

  • Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the College's Christian-based ethos

  • Can plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education

  • VIT Registered Teacher

The salary range is $86k-128k based on years of experience.
